CME 4: October, November, December 2008 (publication date January 5, 2009; expiration date April 16, 2009, at 12:01 AM Pacific Standard Time)

This Quarterly Journal CME Activity consists of four elements:

• Reading the Journal with sufficient thoroughness to understand the major conclusions presented in each scientific article, and certain review articles
• Passing an examination to evaluate the thoroughness of your understanding of the Journal's contents
• Reviewing the post-examination explanations of the preferred answers
• Completing the evaluation form

Each Quarterly Journal CME Activity is an interactive educational experience of 50 questions based on topics covered in the previous 3 months' issues of The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery. Claim up to 10 CME credits for successfully completing each individual activity. You must achieve 50% of the correct answers to pass this activity. You may claim CME credit for successful completion of a quarterly activity for a period of three and one half months from the date of publication. After that time, the activity will remain online for the purpose of review only.
